The Chairman of Karnataka State Muslim Federation® Mr. C M Ibrahim has a dream to uplift the poor and downtrodden and minority community people both socially and economically by providing good and healthy education. The place selected for the establishment of the PU college is surrounded by the colonies of below poverty level people who cannot afford expensive education. C M Ibrahim, chairman of KSMF and former Central Union Minister of Civil Aviation and Minister for information and broadcasting, Govt. of India, has given his own building to establish the PU college, named after his late Son Mohammed Ishaque. Hence Mohammed Ishaque PU College came into existence. The college was started in the year 1997. In a span of ten years it has become a full-fledged college to cater pre University education to the people of surrounding areas.

The college is run under the able guidance of chairman, KSMF and the governing council of the college. The vital role played by Mr. Abdul Hameed, our vibrant administrator, HKBK group of Institutions has brought the institution its present fame. The main objective of the KSMF is to educate students of Minority community in particular and to the students of other communities in general, at a very low nominal fee which can be affordable by people of all sectors. The fee collected is not sufficient to run the college. The deficit amount will be borne by the chairman of KSMF.

The Mohammed Ishaque PU college is a full fledged institution with all infrastructural facilities like adequate building, furniture, Library, Laboratories, high tech computer laboratory in addition to this, highly qualified, experienced and dedicated full time staff to train the below average students of the surrounding areas.

The management is providing all necessary moral and financial support to the Institution. The college is imparting good training to its students and the overall performance of the institution and students is improving year after year since its inception. The college is also providing many scholarships and fee concessions to the poor, deserving and meritorious students.
